A major feature of The West Hartford Book is connecting business to the community. And, of course, our business directory serves that purpose on a day-to-day basis. But a far more personal connection are the Department Leader Portraits and "Book Ends." West Hartford photographer Lanny Nagler has made over 100 of these images since we started in 2003, catching incomparable detail, nuances of character and subtle humor in his subjects. In all but a very few cases, he's selected and scheduled them himself. He conducts the shoots and carries with him the good spirit and professionalism we intend.
